Flank Steak Marinade
1 large or 2 small flank steaks, 2 to 2 ½ lbs
Marinade:
½ cup soy sauce (I use mushroom soy sauce)
1 cup orange juice
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp sugar
1 clove garlic minced
1 tsp ginger powder
Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk together.
Place steaks into a shallow nonreactive container. Pour marinade over steak and make sure marinade is touching all surfaces of the meat. Marinate for 24 hours. Cook on preheated BBQ. Cook 8 to 10 minutes per side depending on the meat’s thickness and your desired doneness. Remove from heat and cover with foil. Rest meat for 10 to 15 minutes. To serve, cut thin slices across the grain.
Serves 4 to 6.
